Recently, Huawei launched several smartphones in Malaysia, including the Mate Xs 2, P50 and Nova Y70.They have also launched several smart wearables like Watch GT 3 Pro, Watch Fit 2, Watch Kids 4 Pro and Huawei Band 7.After attending the event and short hands-on sessions with a few of these products, here are some key features and key features of the specifications. The Huawei Mate Xs 2 has a 6.5-inch foldable display that can unfold to a 7.8-inch screen. The phone is also 255g lighter than its predecessor, which weighed 300g two years ago.Priced at RM 7,999, the phone is also much cheaper than its predecessor, which costs RM 11,111.From my brief experience, I'd say it's a powerful phone, and its size makes it ideal for those who want to be productive on the go without carrying a tablet or laptop. Those who pre-order the phone at Huawei, Lazada or Shopee Experience stores between 3-23 June 2022 are eligible for gifts up to RM 1,400, such as the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro.About five months after the launch of the P50 Pro and P50 Pocket, Huawei finally launched the Huawei P50 in the Malaysian market.and Shopee.Customers who pre-order the phone before May 27, 2022 can receive a selection of free gifts for up to RM 1000, such as FreeBuds lipstick. Also, the P50 Pro is now available for pre-order for less than RM 3,699 in several new colors including Gold Black, Cocoa Gold and Silver Blue.Huawei Nova Y70, the cheapest smartphone in the group, will also be available on Lazada and Shopee from June 2022.Our first wearable, Huawei GT 3 Pro, is offered in two variants as Watch GT 3 Pro Titanium Edition and Watch GT 3 Pro Ceramic Edition. The first of the two comes with a larger 1.43-inch AMOLED display and a gray leather strap. The Ceramic Edition, on the other hand, has a smaller screen but has a more premium and stylish design with an all-white exterior. Both versions are not only rated IP68 for water and dust resistance, but can withstand water depths of up to 30 meters, unlike the Watch GT 2, which is only rated at 5 ATM.Titanium and ceramic versions are available for pre-order from today until May 26, 2022, starting at RM 1,399 and RM 2,399 respectively.Depending on the version you get, free pre-order items include a Huawei Band 6 and a Huawei FreeBuds Lipstick.Huawei has also launched the Watch Fit 2, the sequel to the original Watch Fit released in 2020.Not only does it support over 97 workout modes, it also has an animated fitness trainer that offers workouts for seven workout courses. Two versions are offered. The first is the Watch Fit 2 Active Edition, available from May 27, 2022 in Isle Blue, Midnight Black and Sakura Pink, priced at RM 599.The latter is called the Elegant Edition (Moon White colour), which will be available from July 2022 for RM 699.Huawei also offers the Watch Kids 4 Pro smartwatch for kids with various monitoring and video calling functions. It costs RM 699 and will be available from May 27, 2022.Last but not least, there's the Huawei Band 7 for RM219 from July 2022.Overall, it was nice to see the Huawei Mate Xs 2's significant price drop compared to its predecessor from two years ago, but it's still undoubtedly a high price to pay for many. The main customers are likely to be early adopters, tech geeks or serious Huawei fans.Their new wearable is also very attractive, especially the Huawei GT 3 Pro Ceramic Edition, which is both eye-catching and functional.Surprisingly, the fact that there is even a Huawei Watch Kids 4 Pro implies that previous models have sold enough for the brand to continue producing them. These were my first thoughts at launch, but we'd like to get our hands on some units for full reviews soon. You must be logged in to post a comment.
