after March 2020 and moved all the shooting and working order to the house, the working habits at home started to change gradually.I had taken the iMac home, which had been in the office for a short time, and was doing things from there.Back in the Technoblog office again, it was in place on the iMac.However, for my eyes, which have become accustomed to the big screen when working at home, the laptop screen was getting too small for continuous work.Just around this time, Samsung sent me the Samsung S27A700NUW 4K UHD monitor model for me to experience.I placed this monitor on the desk I had set up myself at home and made it one of the main business tools here.I was putting the MacBook Pro behind the monitor with the screen off, working with the keyboard and mouse connected to the laptop as if I were in front of a desktop computer.First of all, let's start by giving the technical specifications of the S27A700.This monitor, which carries a 27-inch IPS panel, has an average brightness of 300 cd/m2.At home, there is a brightness that is more than enough, day or night.The wide viewing angle of up to 178 degrees horizontally and vertically allows more than one person to work comfortably on the screen at the same time or to place the monitor at a higher place.Having 10-bit color support, the monitor can display 1.07 billion colors.You're limited to a 60Hz refresh rate, but considering this monitor is ideal for more productivity-focused work than gaming, that refresh rate is also sufficient.We can make the same interpretation for the presence of a response time of 5 ms.Since I use this monitor for work rather than playing games or watching movies, these averages have not been a problem for me.It offers a pixel density of 163 ppi with 3840 x 2160 pixels.Pixels are not clear at the optimum distance.I've mainly used this monitor with the 2021 14-inch MacBook Pro.It was able to offer an extremely clear, vivid and sharp viewing environment, in a view equivalent to the scaled view according to Apple's Retina display.There are five different profiles in Picture Settings, Personal, Standard, Cinema, Dynamic Contrast and High Brightness.You can manually configure brightness, contrast, sharpness and color settings in custom mode.It brings standard color levels to average while reducing brightness, contrast and clarity to optimum values.The brightness is a little low at this setting.Contrast is increased in Cinema mode, the white level shifts slightly towards the warmer side.This mode is not useful especially when working in environments with white distinctive and the text becomes more legible, the brightness remains very low in certain situations.In High Brightness mode, the brightness is maximized.You can manually edit other display settings.The Samsung S27A700 has a 16:9 aspect ratio.If there was a small screen, I wouldn't find this aspect ratio ideal.But I've often used the 27-inch widescreen with two apps.I used Twitter in the thin and long window on the left side of the screen, and the Chrome web browser, which is my main workspace, in the remaining area.Apart from that, I was able to place the panels on the screen in a way that I could see and work comfortably while doing video editing with Premiere Pro.While creating news images for Technoblog in Photoshop, working in full screen provided enough canvas space.I mentioned above that the monitor reaches a brightness value of 300 cd/m2.The monitor was in the living room of the house, close to the window, and especially in the morning the sun was hitting the table.Despite this, the screen brightness was sufficient for comfortable work.I can't say I've had any problems for the rest of the day anyway.It also has a low reflection with its matte surface DisplayPort 1.2 supported port on the back of the monitor.There is one USB-A format 3.0 port above, but this port is located for service and maintenance.The USB hub feature we see on some monitors is not available on this S27A700.Thanks to the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack, it allows you to connect a headphone or a speaker via a cable directly to the monitor and get sound from it.It will work especially if you connect a tablet or phone to the monitor.Today, electricity consumption has become a factor that pays more attention.Samsung S27A700 has a feature called Eco Saving Plus under System settings.When you set it to Auto, the brightness of the screen is adjusted according to the ambient light.In this mode, the brightness is at a reasonable level, while keeping your eyes comfortable, you also save some energy.There are two more options, such as Low and High, where the screen brightness is kept at constant levels.In the Higher of these, as you can imagine, the screen brightness is dimmed considerably.In terms of design, I can say that the Samsung S27A700 is a product that is not too flashy, but will look stylish on the table.The thin screen bezel and the small Samsung logo on the lower edge of the screen add a nice touch to the monitor.The metal stand is solid, you can use this place as a phone, etc.You can use it to put things.The placement of the ports on the back is
